Non-destructive tests

Experienced and certified engineers-inspectors of our company undertake non-destructive tests  (NDT), as part of the control of industrial constructions.

Ultrasound, radiography, eddy currents, magnetic particles and penetrating fluids are the methods used in these tests.

Controls are mainly related to plate thickness, pipework, fittings, etc., as well as to stratification detection, mapping of plate areas, pressure vessels or tanks to locate eroded areas. In addition, lamellar and tube welding tests, controls to find superficial and sub-surface discontinuities, crack detection and pores in non-porous materials are some of the non-destructive testing applications being performed.

The state-of-the-art equipment used for these tests combined with the expertise and experience of inspectors guarantee a safe and reliable control result.
